Basic regulators connect to the battery and simply switch
between 2 voltages. Typically they switch 'on' at about 12.9V (at
the battery) and switch 'off' at about 14V. The basic regulator shall
utilise some of the solar cells potential and only suits a low cost
10-70W solar cell. The product is ideal for keeping batteries
topped up when the vehicle/boat is not in use. It will never provide
serious charging but is very low cost.
